Chinese Checkers can be played with 2,3,4 or 6 players. The game requires the game board which is hexagonal in shape. If you are playing a game with 4 players, then it has to be played with 2 pairs of opposite triangles just like the two players game which is played with opposing triangles.
For a 6 player game, all the pegs and triangles are used and for a 3 player game, the triangles used by the players have to be equidistant from each other. The players can choose their colors for the triangle as well as its 10 corresponding pegs.
How to Play Chinese Checkers
The game begins with tossing a coin. This is in order to pick the first player. The turns are alternate among the players moving single pegs. The players can move pegs into adjacent holes to the starting hole. They are also allowed to jump over pegs.
Just note that the Hopping moves have to be adjacent and empty holes. All players can hop over any number of pegs that is possible in one turn.
Also, the Pegs stay on the board. The unused pegs are kept on the left side. Once a peg reaches across the board to the opposite triangle, you cannot move it out.
